Posted in Fragrances | No Comments »Anyone think the frequency of homeruns will decrease once the old stadium is torn down?
Cause of the appearent lack of air in the new yankee stadium in regard to the high homerun total.
I guess the old stadium still being there could alter wind patterns somewhat and create a breeze toward right field in the new stadium, but from the pictures I've seen, I'm not buying into that. I guess we'll find out.
A weather guy here thinks it's because of the different shape of the stadium's shell which has a wider slope allowing winds to blow across the field with less restriction. So if that's right, then it will take some reconstruction or maybe just moving the right field fence back and/or making it higher.
