Nintendo wii questions....?

1. does putting the wii on its side damge the discs while playing? (is it safer upright or lying flat)
2. what batteries work best with the remotes? (not the chargable ones i aint getin em)
3. is it true u can replace the sensor bar with two candles?

1. It doesn't. My cousin has his Wii flat, so it won't fall, it works fine.
2. I normally use Durecell (sp)
3. To me, it is a rumor, I am not sure if it is true, I saw an article on IGN saying that it can be done with it.
