I will be traveling .... Can I bring makeup, perfume, or any food in my hand carry and if so, how?

In the U.S., each container of makeup, etc. must be 3 oz or smaller. All containers must be brought in a sealed plastic bag 1 quart zip top (you can only have 1 bag). It's the only way you can bring in your hand luggage. You can always put it in your checked baggage without restriction.
