Replacement Diffuser

but i already have several aquarium air pumps and just wondered if i could just purchase a replacement glass part for the diffuser and just hook it up to an aquarium pump. has anyone tried this before?
It will work just fine - I've repaired a couple of them that way
The Hagen "elite 799" or "elite 801" seems to work quite fine with those type nebulizers....
I think any air pump you got laying around that you would use on a tank under 5 gallons would work. A larger one might, but you might need another size airline and an adapter (and those silly adapters can be hard to find)
