A small Jazz set like the kind Tama or Yamaha make is ideal, but in addition to the set, you should get a plexiglass shield to place in front of the set. If you place a small area mike just over the set, you can control the volume in relation to the other instruments. The plexiglass shield keeps the percussive effect from getting directly in anyone's face however, and that is sometimes crucial to keeping an attitude of worship alive.
Of course the style of music has a great deal to do with the type of drumset you purchase as well. If you are playing anything that requires a larger set, you would be wise to refer to the person playing the set, or get the recommendation of the shop you will be buying the set from.
