For babies on Prevacid for reflux?

We have just started my 20 pounds four months on Prevacid a few weeks ago. It is not the type tab, it is already mixed for us and we give 2.5mg/mil 2 million 2x/day. If my math is right that could add up 10 mg a day right? After a few days he was tall, he started to eat more and was more happy when my husband left on the counter for 4 hours, (it must be refrigerated) and immediately I could tell him was not working, so we have a refill because the pharmacist thought it had probably become unstable. It was about charging for 5 days now and it is still not improving. I was wondering if 10 mg daily is sufficient. What is your baby get? I'll bring it back to the doctor, but I'm just curious if a standard dose is 10mg or if they usually get more.

I do not remember how my baby was on but I know we had it until after an event, when he was not respond to drugs more. I think we even put him on another med and so it was about 2 for reflux.
